Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 9:21PM Last Sunday was one of the hottest days of the year and Joann & Gabe were troopers making this the steamiest shoot I've done to date. I had the pleasure of photographing my long time friend's engagement shoot at the Tidal Basin near the FDR Memorial. To cool off we ended up at the Dairy Godmother in Del Ray located in Alexandria, VA.

Old Town is great place to check out some local artist at the Torpedo Factory and watch performances by local musicians. While I was down there I discovered 10 year-old Geoffrey Gallante, who is an amazing trumpet player.
