Allison + Mark : Alexandria Wedding - Old Town Alexandria, VA

Okay folks this is a long one. It's been a busy season with weddings and I wanted to showcase Allison and Mark's beautiful wedding held at the Carlyle House in Old Town Alexandria. Their ceremony was very spiritual and you could feel the love they had for each other and for their family and friends. Their wedding had great details and everyone there came in style.

For this wedding, I asked the talented Akins Lawal to second shoot with film - check out his blog soon to see what this wedding looks like on medium format and 35mm film (I popped in a few rolls for myself too). ALLISON + MARK : ENGAGEMENT SESSION - OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA, VA

Here are some photos from a shoot I did a few weeks ago with Allison and Mark in Old Town Alexandria, VA. They brought a special guest, their golden doodle "Gus", who hammed it up to the camera. I had a great time getting to know this couple before their wedding. The photos below were made a few blocks from the Carlyle House, which happens to be the site for their wedding. Enjoy!

Joann + Gabe: DC Engagement Shoot

Last Sunday was one of the hottest days of the year and Joann & Gabe were troopers making this the steamiest shoot I've done to date.  I had the pleasure of photographing my long time friend's engagement shoot at the Tidal Basin near the FDR Memorial.  To cool off we ended up at the Dairy Godmother in Del Ray located in Alexandria, VA.
