Entering the film game
Friday, February 25, 2011 at 9:24PM This week my film camera finally arrived in the mail. Welcome the Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 35mm film camera. I bought it used and plus it came with a 50mm 1.7 Carl Zeiss lens which made it a steal. This camera was a classic in it's hey day and was used by many aspiring photographers to learn the basics of photography. I plan on shooting a couple of rolls of Kodak Portra 160nc and vc to see what I get. The film is actually expired so I might get some mixed results - we'll see. I'll try to post some photos tomorrow or Sunday. Here's my new baby below.

I don't know much about these cameras.. but I love the photos that you took with it, so I did some research and how fantastic is that you can use zeiss glass? Thanks again Cristina! So far I love it...I'm really digging film in general. The Yashica FX-3 for me is a good entry into Zeiss glass...definitely worth picking up.
