It turned out to be a surprise shoot for Leslie as she had no idea about it - part of Marlan's surprise for Mother's Day weekend. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 7:49PM Here are some photos from Chloris and Eyob's engagement shoot I shot in March. We had to cancel our initial session due to weather, but this time the rain held up and the sun finally came to let us do our thing. I had an awesome time photographing them - their happiness definitely shined through.

Here are more photos from the same roll of Kodak Portra 160 using the Canon F-1 film camera. Arlene and I discovered Meridian Hill Park in DC on our way to friends house in Maryland. It's a great place for hanging out and a spot for a future engagement shoot.
Here are some random photos I took of Roman, Arl and the park. I didn't have a lens hood on my lens, hence the sun flares. I didn't like the effect particularly in these photos.

Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 1:31PM Here are more photos of Joann and Gabe's photo shoot that I did back in July. These photos were made with my film camera using Kodak Portra 400 and I finally received the scans from Richard Photo Lab. Can you tell the difference from my first post of Joann + Gabe using my Nikon D90?
Anyway, I'm super excited about Joann and Gabe's upcoming wedding! Once again these two were troopers and they made it easy for me to capture the love they have for each other.
