Michelle + AJ : Connection Shoot - Leesburg, VA

Meet Michelle and AJ - both DC transplants from California. I had a chance to spend some time with them at Red Rock Wilderness Overlook Park to do a connection shoot. These guys were troopers for allowing me to take them for a hike through the woods for some shots near the Potomac. I had a great time getting to know this awesome couple before I shoot their Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony in June.

My first film roll (part 2)

Here are more photos from my first roll of film. I developed the film at Walgreens so that scan quality isn't that great. With shooting film and 100% manual, you really have to trust yourself with what you know. Right now I'm learning the quirkiness of my Yaschica and possibilities with film.

Julia + Sal : Tarara Winery in Leesburg, VA

Arlene and I spent Saturday afternoon with one of our favorite couples Julia and Sal at Tarara Winery in Leesburg, VA. These guys enjoy great food and wine as we do and we decided to have a picnic at the winery. A picnic in 50 degree weather? Why not. Bring your own cheese, sandwiches and grab a bottle of wine at the winery and you're set.  Tarara Winery makes some pretty good wine too (I haven't found many Virginia wines that I like).

Anyway, here's a set of this fun loving couple...let's call it "Loving to the fullest." Thanks Julia and Sal!
